Jon Cancio
Born in the Philippines and raised in the United States, Jon first discovered his love for theater at the age of thirteen. He began his training in the International Baccalaureate theatre program at the International School of Manila under the tutelage of actress and director Tami Monsod.
In 2011, Jon Graduated from the BA(Hons) Acting program at Lasalle College of the Arts, where he appeared in Blood Wedding, Oresteia, Twelfth Night, Eurydice, Journey to Nowhere, and Big Love. He was selected to perform in a re-staged version of Blood Wedding at the 2010 UNESCO World Festival of Theater Schools in Lima, Peru.
Jon has been in numerous ads for companies such as: Starhub, Sony Erickson, The British Chamber of Commerce, Health Promotion Board Singapore, and BMW.
Jon’s next appearance on stage will be as Antonio in SRT’s production of Twelfth Night this April. He is quite pschyed.
